Aiden has surgery on his eyes today to remove/drain these bumps that he had. There is some long term for them but all I can remember is that they aren't stys. Here is the after pic...

We had it all wrong

I just wanted to let everyone know that we have been doing it wrong all these years. Apparently you are supposed to sit in it SIDEWAYS and swing. Just FYI.

New Years 2010

Our New Years was very NONEVENTFUL lol. We skyped with my parents for 3 1/2 hours and chatted with the people at their house and played with play-doh while Dick Clark's New Years Eve was on. Aiden and Carmine were both awake for the ball drop! Next year, maybe we'll do something more exciting! What did you do?

Merry Christmas!

Santa came to our house last night and we celebrated on the 24th. (It's Steve's turn to have Aiden for Christmas this year.) There were a ton of presents under the tree and we had a blast opening them. We went to A Christmas Celebration at Busch Gardens for our Christmas Eve and saw Santa at his Workshop and the North Pole!

It's a rectangle!

I made Aiden a sandwich for dinner and cut the crusts off, thus resulting in a rectangle sandwich. Aiden notice an said, "look, a rectangle!" I told him good job and asked for a high-five. He then said, "I can't I'm eating!" maybe it was the facial expression but I laughed pretty hard. Gotta love what 3 yr olds say!

Potty training

Aiden is finally interested in potty training (probably cuz we promised him a big Optimus Prime toy) and its been nice. He only has had a few accidents, and I can't wait until he is fully potty trained because I will only have to buy one size of diapers instead of two!

Excuse me?!

So the other night I made shake'n bake chicken with stuffing and cooked carrots. I cut everything up into small pieces for Aiden to eat and had everyone sit down for dinner. Aiden takes one look at his plate, sighs with both hands on his face and says, "I'm supposed to eat this?" ...from the mouth of babes...

Catch up!

So my mom arrived on the 14th of October and left Nov 1st. I was sad to see her go because I really appreciated all of her help. Anyway, here are some pics of the last couple of weeks.

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins tonight along with our neighbors, Angie and Mikey. Aiden did not like scooping out the "guts". He painted his pumpkin because him and knives do not mix!
